New Disney Transportation Project Will Lift You Up!

Disney Skyliner

It has been made official that Disney is preparing for the construction of its new transportation project: Disney Skyliner!

This amazing new transportation will connect hotels and parks from Epcot International Gateway to Hollywood Studio via the Art of Animation, Pop Century and Caribbean Beach resorts. These flying gondolas will revolutionize the transportation systems at Disney World. Each gondola will be able to accommodate 10 passengers and will feature some of your favorite Disney characters! Passengers will be able to experience Disney from above, giving them a stunning view of the parks and attractions. Unlike the previous Skyway ride that used to link Magic Kingdom’s Fantasy Land to Tomorrowland and which closed in 1999 after a tragic accident, these brand new gondolas will be completely enclosed, therefore ensuring everyone stays inside while being transported in the air!

Disney World is hoping to set an example for the whole of the United States with this new mode of transport which could revolutionize transportation in American cities!

Another transportation system is also about to come to Disney World, and will surely contribute to making your holiday at Disney World a unique experience: Minnie Mouse themed vans! This new point-to-point service will take guests anywhere they would like to go around Disney World Resort in a classic styled Minnie Mouse decorated car!!

No date was set for the opening of either of these two new transportation systems yet, but both the projects are well on their way.

Get Excited for the New Star Wars: Galxay’s Edge!

Star wars: Galaxy's Edge

Rumors were spread earlier this year about what features the new Star Wars land in Disney’s Hollywood Studio would include… Some of the mysteries surrounding this new land were revealed at Disney run 23D Expo that just ended.

First of all, the new Star Wars land finally has a name and it is: Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge! The new lands (yes, lands) will open in 2019 starting first in Disneyland in California, then in Disney World in Orlando, Florida! Both lands will encompass about 14 acres of pure excitement!

As far as attractions go, the Star Wars fans will not be disappointed:

  • The Millennium Falcon: take control of this famous “hunk of junk”, accompanied by Han Solo and Chewbacca who will help you navigate your through the Galaxy!
  • The Star Wars battle: fight amidst a major battle between the Resistance and the First Order! Guests will feel as if they were inside a Star Destroyer and take full part in the action! It is going to be an attraction like never seen before.

A Star Wars hotel will also be part of the new park in Disney’s Hollywood Studio! This hotel will provide a complete 100% immersive experience! From start to finish, guests will take part in unique personalized adventures, talking to famous Star Wars characters and even dressing up accordingly!

All Star Wars fans, big or small, young or old, will marvel at the perspective of spending time in this new and exciting park to open in both Disneyland and Disney World in 2019!

This year’s International Food and Wine Festival at Epcot is going to be the longest ever! Starting on August 31st until November 13th, the festival will be a record 75 days long!! Moreover, celebrating the 35th Epcot anniversary, the festival will count 35 marketplaces as opposed to 25 global marketplaces in 2016. More to enjoy for your palate!

Disney World has recently released this year’s menu and it will make your mouth water! Come and enjoy food from all over the world coming from places such as Africa, Australia, France, Greece, and even South Korea! You will be able to try out delicious eats, and attend numerous food shows and food and wine related entertainments! Moreover, this year’s bulk of the festival is included in the general park admission; all you need to do is cover the cost of your delicious treats! There are lots of free things to do also if you would like to get your favorite cook book signed or meet culinary experts for example!

You’re a fan of cheese? Attend a cheese seminar and learn about the texture and awesome drink combinations for the perfect cheese plateau! Attend an alcoholic beverages seminar (for adults only..!) and sample the best wines, spirits and beers while learning more about wine making, beer brewing and distilling techniques.

This is a very popular event and hotel spaces book out very quickly, so you’ll need to plan a bit in advanced! Coming with you kids and make them discover a piece of the world through their taste buds is a fantastic idea, but think about renting a stroller from Magical Stroller Rentals to make your experience and that of your children more enjoyable!
